Application
Replacement AAF 02 DX Panel Pak Cartridge is a heuryduty,high efficiency filter developed specially for the use of self-cleaning pulse-t1pe air filtration systems. It is designed to operate under tlre severe environmental conditions of gas turbine, engine and centifugal compressor applications.
 
Construction
The Panel Pak Filter elements are sturdily constructed with galvanised steel franework encapsulating the media packs.
The high efficiencymedia is a blend of synthetic and cellulose fibres specially treated to provide exceptional resistance to high humid conditions. The media is uniformly corrugated and pleated to ensure even spacing and fixed in by position by thixotropic glue lines. This media pack construction supports and separates the pleats to ensure evenly distributed airflow.
To further strengthen the media packs, metal stiffeners are placed within the media pleats. The media packs are protected in the inside and outside by wire mesh to ensure that the media remain in place during the reverse pulse mode of the self-cleaning filter unit. The wire mesh is assembled into the steel cell sides with a fire retardant epoxy resin. Each Panel Pak filter element is supplied with a moulded gasket fitted to the air leaving face, which guarantees a positive airtight seal.
